LUT Participates in the 8th China Conference on Educational Technology Innovation and Application

Beijing, November 3–5, Lanzhou University of Technology (LUT) attended the 8th China Conference on Educational Technology Innovation, Development, and Application, held at the China National Convention Center. Hosted by the China Association for Educational Technology, the event carried the theme "Moving Forward with Innovation, Shaping the Future with Intelligence" and focused on deepening the integration of artificial intelligence across the economy and society.

The conference brought together more than 4,000 participants, including government officials, scholars, university leaders, IT specialists, educators, industry representatives, and practitioners involved in ed-tech adoption.

At the “Application-Driven & Data-Empowered: University Data Governance Forum for Presidents,” Han Jianping, Vice President and Standing Committee Member of LUT’s Party Committee, delivered a keynote speech titled “Building a Digital-Intelligent Foundation, Empowering Through Platforms: LUT’s Pathway to Campus-Wide Intelligent Governance.” He shared the university’s experience in developing its digital-intelligent campus, covering the project’s background, strategic planning, phased outcomes, and key insights.

This year marks the launch of a new three-year digital education strategy and is pivotal for implementing the guiding principles of the National Education Conference and advancing China’s education modernization agenda. The conference served as a platform for exchanging fresh ideas and innovative solutions, fostering multi-stakeholder collaboration, and building a cooperative ecosystem to support digital transformation and high-quality development in education.
