1. Entry requirements
General requirements
Applicants must be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China, and be in good health.Be a bachelor’s degree holder under the age of 35.
Academic qualifications and language requirement
Academic qualifications: a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent.
A certificate of HSK4 (or above).
2. Programs
The language of instruction is Chinese. Visit Master Programs for more.
3. Fees
(1) Tuition fee: CNY18,000/year for liberal arts, economics and management; CNY20,000/year for science and engineering.
(2) Accommodation fee: CNY3,600/year (double room: independent kitchen; public toilet and shower room)
(3) Insurance premium: CNY800/year
(4) Application fee: CNY400/person
When and how to pay?
Application fee needs to be paid as soon as possible after registration. Please pay attention to the email notice.
Insurance premium: Please purchase it before coming to China to ensure that the insurance will be effective when you enter China.
Tuition and accommodation should be paid upon registration, and it is recommended to use WeChat, Alipay or international remittance.
4. Required documents
(1) Scanned copy of notarized highest diploma. Chinese/English translation is required for texts other than Chinese and English; prospective diploma recipients must submit official documents issued by current school to prove current student status or expected graduation date. Once admitted, you are required to present the original diploma upon registration.
(2) Academic transcript (from undergraduate level onwards). The scanned transcript should include undergraduate and master's (if any). Chinese / English translations is required for texts other than Chinese and English.
(3) Scanned copy of passport homepage
(4) Study Plan. It should be either in Chinese or English with less than 1000 words.
(5) Recommendation letters from two professors or associate professors, with a focus on the applicant's requirements when studying in China.It should also include the cooperation or intercollegiate exchanges between Chinese universities or Chinese supervisors and foreign supervisors and the evaluation of students' comprehensive abilities and future development.
(6) Certificate of no criminal record
(7) Scanned copy of valid Foreigner Physical Examination Form.
Physical Examination Record for Foreigner.pdf The form must be filled in English. The form without personal photo affixed, saddle seal affixed to the photo,signature or seal from the physician or hospital will be regarded as invalid. The validity period of the examination results is 6 months.
(8) HSK 4 or above.

5. When and how to apply?
(1) Apply between January 1st to June 15th at https://lut.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx.
(2) Pay the application fee at https://pay.lut.edu.cn/xysf/login.aspx.
(3) Attend an online interview.If you pass the interview, you will receive an email.
(4) You will receive an electronic version of the Confirmation Form for Study in China (JW202) and the admission notice.
(5) You need to apply for a student visa (X visa) at the local embassy with the admission notice and the electronic JW202.
