Chinese Language Student
1. Entry requirements
Applicants must be a citizen of a country other than the People’s Republic of China, and be in good health.
Age requirement: between 16 and 40.
2. Highlights
Small class size with no more than 30 students.
Comprehensive improvement:we emphasize on listening, speaking, reading and writing to help students improve upon their Chinese proficiency in all aspects.
Certificate of completion:students who successfully complete the program will receive a transcript of their Chinese language studies and a certificate of completion.
Scholarship opportunities:students with excellent grades will be given priority during admission into our academic programs and will have the opportunity to receive one of LUT scholarships.
3. Fees
Tuition fee: CNY5,000/semester; CNY10,000/year
Accommodation fee: CNY3,600/year (double room: independent kitchen; public toilet and shower room)
Insurance premium: CNY800/year, CNY400/half year
Application fee: CNY400/person
When and how to pay?
(1) Application fee needs to be paid as soon as possible after registration. Please pay attention to the email notice.
(2) Insurance premium: Please purchase it before coming to China to ensure that the insurance will be effective when you enter China.
(3) Tuition and accommodation should be paid upon registration, and it is recommended to use WeChat, Alipay or international remittance.
4. Required documents
(1) Scanned copy of notarized highest diploma. Chinese/English translation is required for texts other than Chinese and English. Prospective diploma recipients must submit official documents issued by current school to prove current student status or expected graduation date.
(2) Scanned copies of notarized transcripts. Chinese/English translations is required for texts other than Chinese and English; prospective graduates can provide current transcripts when applying.

(5) Scanned copy of valid Foreigner Physical Examination Form.

5. When and how to apply?
Spring intake: November 1st - January 15th.
September intake: May 1st -July 15th.
(1) Apply at https://lut.at0086.cn/StuApplication/Login.aspx.
(2) If you pass the interview, you will receive an email. Pay the application fee at https://pay.lut.edu.cn/xysf/login.aspx as instructed in the email.
(3) You will receive an electronic version of the Confirmation Form for Study in China (JW202) or Information Form for Foreign Students’ Short-term Visit (DQ) and the admission notice.
(4) You need to apply for a student visa (X visa) at the local embassy with the admission notice and the electronic JW202/DQ.
